ERROR DESCRIPTION
A Discipline Incident was reported that includes a Weapon record but has no Discipline Action associated with it. Please add the missing Discipline Action record.
DETAILS
The student’s Discipline Incident record indicates a weapon was involved. A corresponding Discipline Action record must be included to document the action taken by the school administration.
Note: Discipline Action details can be found in the ADVISER Data Elements guide for the appropriate school year in the ADVISER Resource website.
FIX
If a weapon was involved in the incident, ensure a corresponding Discipline Action record is completed in the SIS to represent the action taken by the school administration, then submit the updated information to ADVISER.
If no weapon was involved in the incident, update the Behavior code in the SIS to a more accurate representation of the student’s situation and submit the updated information to ADVISER.
