430 – Transfer Out Enrollment Record Missing for Contracted Out Student

Article Contents

ERROR DESCRIPTION

The student enrollment record for the student has a Residency Status of (05) “Contracted out to another Nebraska public school district”, which requires a matching Exit Withdrawal Type of 213 “Transfer Out to A Nebraska Public School”. Please correct the student’s Residency Status or Exit Withdrawal Type in the student enrollment record. Refer to the ADVISER Data Elements – Residency Status and/or Exit Withdrawal Type (Enrollment Exit Code) for more information.

DETAILS

The student enrollment record for the student states the Residency Status is (05) “Contracted out to another Nebraska public school district”, however the Exit Withdrawal Type is not the appropriate code to go with this Residency Status. If the student is contracted out from the district, there are very specific student enrollment Exit Withdrawal Type codes to coordinate with the Residency Status codes.

Note: The student enrollment Residency Status and Exit Withdrawal Type codes chart can be found in the ADVISER Data Elements guide for the appropriate school year in the ADVISER Resource website.

FIX

If the student is contracted to another Nebraska public school district, then the Exit Withdrawal Type on the student enrollment record needs to be changed to “213” (Transfer Out to a Nebraska Public School District) in the SIS and submitted to ADVISER.

If the student is not contracted to another Nebraska public school, then the Residency Status in the student enrollment record in the SIS needs to be updated to appropriate code and submitted to ADVISER.
