ERROR DESCRIPTION
A student in high school was enrolled in the previous year but does not have a current enrollment record according to the Graduation Cohort process that is run nightly. To fix, publish a current school enrollment record for this student showing the appropriate exit code or entry code, or if a correction needs to be made to the previous school year please submit a CDC Graduation Cohort Resolution Request. After a change is made, please wait until the next day to review this error.
DETAILS
In the previous school year, the student was reported as attending the school district. However, in the current school year, there is no enrollment record indicating whether the student is actively attending or has withdrawn from the district.
Note: Enrollment definitions can be found in the ADVISER Data Elements guide for the appropriate school year in the ADVISER Resource website.
FIX
If the student is attending the district, create an enrollment record with the correct “Entry Type” code in your SIS and send the update to ADVISER.
If the student withdrew from the district before the first day of school, create an enrollment record in your SIS with the correct “Entry Type” and “Exit Withdraw Type” codes. For the “Exit Withdraw Date,” use a date prior to the first day of school, and then submit to ADVISER.
If the student withdrew from the district after the first day of school, create an enrollment record in your SIS with the appropriate “Entry Type” and “Exit Withdraw Type” codes, then submit to ADVISER.
