731 – Grade 12 Student With No Exit Date

Article Contents

ERROR DESCRIPTION

Warning: a 12th grade student has not been reported as a graduate and has not been exited from your district. This may be correct as-is, but if the student did graduate please exit the student with the appropriate exit date and reason.

DETAILS

A 12th grade student is missing an Exit Withdraw Type reported for the enrollment record. Typically the 12th grade students graduate and the student is missing this information.

This warning may be accurate if the student is still enrolled and attending the district the following school year.

Note: The definitions of “Exit Withdraw Type” can be found in the ADVISER Data Elements for the appropriate school year on the ADVISER Resource website.

FIX

If the student graduated or exited for another reason, update the enrollment record with the appropriate Exit Withdraw Date and Exit Withdraw Type in the SIS and submit to ADVISER.

If the student is still enrolled and attending, no changes may be necessary.
