ERROR DESCRIPTION
An instructional day was reported in a calendar that is outside of the possible dates for the current school year (7/1 through 6/30). Please correct your calendar records.
DETAILS
The Nebraska Department of Education defines the school year as spanning from July 1st to June 30th. The “01” (Instructional Day) in the Calendar Event must fall on or after July 1st of the corresponding school year. This error indicates that the Calendar Event provided is not within the appropriate school year.
Note: The Calendar Event definitions can be found in the ADVISER Data Elements guide for the appropriate school year in the ADVISER Resource website.
FIX
If the day is an “01” (Instructional Day), update the Calendar Event to an appropriate date that is within the school year (7/1-6/30) in the SIS and submit the update to ADVISER.
If the day is not an “01” (Instructional Day), remove the code and date in the Calendar Event in the SIS and submit the updated to ADVISER.
