Article Contents

ERROR DESCRIPTION

The Special Education Begin Date is before the student’s Birth Date. Either the Special Education Begin Date or the Birth Date of the student was entered incorrectly.

DETAILS

The Special Education record’s Begin Date is before the student’s date of birth. The student’s first name, last name and date of birth in ADVISER Validation come from ADVISER Person ID.

Note: The definitions of Special Education Begin Date can be found in the ADVISER Data Elements on the ADVISER Resource website.

FIX

Verify the student’s date of birth. Look in the SIS, SRS and ADVISER Person ID to ensure they all match.

If the date of birth is incorrect in ADVISER Validation, update it in ADVISER Person ID. Make sure your SIS and SRS match.

If the date of birth is correct in ADVISER Validation, update the Special Education Begin Date to the appropriate date in the SRS (or SIS) and then send into ADVISER.
