A Special Education course code (starting with “19”) was reported for a student that does not have a Special Education or 504 Designation record.
DETAILS
A Special Education course code (beginning with “19”) was reported for a student who does not have an active Special Education or Section 504 Program record in ADVISER. Special Education course codes should only be used for students who are receiving Special Education or 504 services.
Note: For detailed information for courses, please see the Course Codes and Clearing Endorsements for the appropriate school year.
FIX
If the student is not receiving Special Education or 504 services, update the course code in the SIS to the appropriate non-Special Education course and submit the updated information to ADVISER.
If the student is receiving Special Education or 504 services, ensure the Special Education program record is reported in the SIS or SRS and submitted to ADVISER.
