581 – Student Enrollment Record With Exit Withdraw Type of Completer/Non-Completer Was Reported for 8th Grade or Lower

ERROR DESCRIPTION

Student was reported as a 210 “Completer: Diploma” or 211 “Completer: with an Alternative/Modified Diploma” or “212 Non-Completer: No Diploma” but was reported with a Grade Level of 8 or lower.

DETAILS

Only students in grade levels 9-12 can be reported with the following enrollment Exit Withdraw Type codes: “210” (Completer: Graduated with a regular or advanced diploma), “211” (Completer: Graduated with an alternative/modified diploma), or “212” (Completer: No diploma).

Note: The definitions of “Exit Withdraw Type” can be found in the ADVISER Data Elements for the appropriate school year on the ADVISER Resource website.

FIX

If the student is in grades HP-8, update the Exit Withdrawal Type to the appropriate code based on the student’s situation in the SIS, and submit the information to ADVISER.

If the student is in grades 9-12, ensure the grade level is accurately updated in the SIS and submit the information to ADVISER.
