821 – Student With Concurrent Enrollments Exited From One Enrollment But Not Second

Article Contents

ERROR DESCRIPTION

A student with concurrent enrollments at your district (multiple enrollments with the same Entry Date) has one enrollment with an Exit Withdraw Code that indicates the student has exited your district, but the second enrollment record has not been exited.

DETAILS

A student with two enrollment records with the same Entry Date has one enrollment record with an Exit Withdraw Type indicating the student has exited the district, but the other enrollment record has not been exited. This creates a discrepancy in the student’s enrollment history.

Note: Enrollment Exit Withdraw Type definitions can be found in the ADVISER Data Elements guide for the appropriate school year in the ADVISER Resource website.

FIX

If the student has indeed exited the district, update the second enrollment record with the appropriate Exit Withdraw Type and Exit Withdraw Date in the SIS, then submit the updated information to ADVISER.

If the second enrollment record is still active, remove any exit indicators from the first enrollment record and submit the updated information to ADVISER.
