ERROR DESCRIPTION
Student is listed as a dropout at more than one district. Review enrollment records and work with other district to determine student’s last enrollment location.
DETAILS
A student may only be reported with a “202” (Drop Out) Exit Withdraw Type at their last enrolled school district. Currently, two enrollment records for the student are reporting a “202” (Drop Out).
Note: Enrollment “Exit Withdraw Type” definitions can be found in the ADVISER Data Elements guide for the appropriate school year in the ADVISER Resource website. The “Guidance for Reporting Dropouts” document can also be found on the website in the ADVISER Data Guidance section.
FIX
Review the enrollment information for the student in ADVISER Validation using the “Enrollment Lookup by ID” tool. Contact the other school district to determine the appropriate Exit Withdraw Type for each district.
After the determination, one of the school districts will update their SIS with the appropriate Exit Withdraw Type and submit the updated information to ADVISER.
