ERROR DESCRIPTION
A Special Education program record reported with a Reason Exited code of SPED99 (Change in SPED Record Only, Not an Exit) needs a following Special Education Program Record entry within the district. Please submit the missing Special Education program record or correct the exit reason on the existing record.
DETAILS
The “SPED99” (Change in SPED Record Only, Not an Exit) code should be used when there is a change in a student’s Special Education services. To accurately reflect the updated services, a new Special Education record must be reported.
Note: The Special Education Reason Exited codes can be found in the ADVISER Data Elements guide for the appropriate school year in the ADVISER Resource website.
FIX
If the student’s Special Education services have changed, create a new Special Education record in the SRS or SIS and submit the updated information to ADVISER.
If the student’s Special Education services have not changed, remove the “SPED99” (Change in SPED Record Only, Not an Exit) from the Special Education record in the SRS or SIS and submit the updated information to ADVISER.
